Zakir Richard Jacobs passed on November 13, 2024. He was married to Dawn Bari Jacobs for 27 years, and they were devoted parents of seven blended children, twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. His passion for our Order and his commitment to doing all he could to support our camps and events was unsurpassed.His deep voice, his laughs and the light that radiated from his dark eyes showed him to be irascible in an ultimately good way, someone to respect. Zakir was vulnerable, caring, questioning, seeking, loving – a kind and compassionate man filled with awe and wonder. He raised the questions we didn’t in a refreshing, candid and humorous way. He loved considering the Divine Mystery and found that mystery so present and remarkable.
Qahira Catherine Warrick passed on April 13, 2025 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She was a devoted murid to The Message of Our Time, led myriad programs, and guided numerous fellow murids.
