The Soul Whence and Whither: Online Course with Pir Zia Inayat-Khan

book1-innerlife
May 4, 11, 18 and 25, 2017

The Soul Whence and Whither, also known as The Soul’s Journey, is a cornerstone of Hazrat Inayat Khan’s work. It describes the descent of the soul into manifestation, the life of the soul in the human realm, and the soul’s return to the Infinite. In these four classes, Pir Zia will offer an overview and appreciation of the worldview communicated in this visionary book.

Please join us for these four classes, Thursday nights May 4, 11, 18 and 25, 2017, at 7 pm Eastern Daylight Time. These classes will be free and open to the public.

The course text may be purchased here or on Amazon. For overseas, two good resources are Book Depository and Fishpond (ask to be notified if not in stock). The section on The Soul’s Journey begins on page 125.

Part I will be hosted on Livestream on Thursday, May 4 at 7pm EDT (free account required). Links to the rest of the classes are below.

About the Volumes
We are pleased to introduce a new series of volumes of the works of Hazrat Inayat Khan produced by Suluk Press, which will be the subject of a series of online classes given by Pir Zia Inayat-Khan.

The Sufi Message of Hazrat Inayat Khan Centennial Edition begins with Volume 1: The Inner Life, which has been authenticated and updated with new material and gender-inclusive language. Pir Zia encourages all current students of Inayat Khan’s teachings, as well as anyone who feels called to explore the inner life, to use this volume as companion material for his course, which will be open and available to all via The Inayati Order website.
