INAYATIYYA FALL APPEAL 2025
30 September 2025
Dear Friends,
Every path is a landscape, and every landscape a mirror of the soul. Every atom of the landscape is full of the Friend.
This Fall, the Inayatiyya invites you to journey with us through the sacred geographies of the spirit – to attune to the earth not merely as terrain, but as teacher. Our 2025 Fall Appeal, inspired by Pir Zia’s luminous teachings at the Omega Institute earlier this year, honors the sacred aspects of landscape – those timeless places where the soul recognizes itself in the world.
Caves. Mountains. Deserts. Rivers. Oceans. Steppes. Valleys. Volcanoes.
Each of these landscapes, both outer and inner, bears the imprint of revelation. The mountain lifts us toward clarity. The desert strips us bare to truth. The river teaches surrender. The volcano, transformation. And the inner landscape of the soul – vast and ever-unfolding – contains them all.
Sufis have long regarded the earth as more than matter; as a scripture inscribed in stone and wind and tide. When we walk with presence, the ground itself whispers secrets: how to be still, how to let go, and how to return.
This year’s Fall Appeal is a call to remember.
A call to remember the sanctity of the natural world and the sacred trust of inner life. A call to support the Inayatiyya’s ongoing mission: to awaken hearts, serve the earth, and sustain a living lineage of Sufi wisdom.
Your gift helps us:
Our goal is to raise $200,000 by December 31st. As of today, we have received $58,426.63, leaving $141,573.37 to raise in the months ahead.
This season, we begin with the cave – a symbol of shelter and surrender. In the weeks to come, we will journey through other landscapes, guided by the breath of Pir Zia’s vision and the ancestral memory within each terrain.
May we walk lightly, give generously, and listen deeply.
Please consider making a donation today to help us continue the work of tending the inner and outer landscapes with care, reverence, and love.
With gratitude on the path,
Josh & Tajalli
