On behalf of the Inayatiyya Healing Activity, we kindly invite you to join us for our annual Sufi Healing Retreat—The Path of the Healer: Transforming the Inner & Outer Life. 

This retreat is based on the teachings of the Sufi musician and mystic, Hazrat Inayat Khan (1882-1927) and is traditionally in two optional parts. This year the first two days, October 17th & 18th, are designed for Inayatiyya Healing Activity Leaders, and the second two days, October 19th & 20th, are held as a general healing retreat open to all. 

Faculty for this year’s program are from North America, Europe, and South Asia, and include Kafayat Amina Feliou (Greece), Shefayat Nur Alima Smith (United States), Shefayat Dr. Raqib Kogan (United States), Kafayat and Murshida Devi Tide (United States), Shefayat Qalbi Dominique Enjalbert (France), Shefayat Farzana Dalila-Boyle (England), Murshida Amat-un-Nur (Pakistan), Murshida Zumurrud Butta (Germany), Shefayat Jessica Bromby (United States), Nina Sufia El-Badry, & the Indigenous Grandmothers – Pershlie Ami (Hopi), Eila Jamia Haqq Paul (Maori), Moetu Taha (Maori), Grandmother Mary Lyons, Jamila Cranston-Buckley, and Devi Tide.

Our draft schedule is shared below. We enthusiastically encourage you to attend our weekend public healing retreat and, if you are an appointed healing leader, the first two days for leaders, too. Registration is now open!

The full program is via Zoom, with the video recordings provided at the end of the program.

Advanced registration is required. Video recordings will be provided to all registrants after the retreat. The suggested tuition is $150 for the full four-day retreat (for designated Healing Activity leaders), and $95 for only Saturday and Sunday (open to all). Please see the sidebar to register.

Discounts are available for those from particular nations due to currency valuation. These nations include Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Turkiye.     Devi Tide

    Devi Tide is the Kefayat (Head) and Vice President of the Sufi Healing Order in North America, New Zealand and Australia. She has over thirty years of experience as a teacher of healing and the esoteric sciences, bringing the qualities of wisdom, heart, subtlety, humor, and intelligence to her role. Devi has contributed to and offered programs in India, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and North America. In her seminars, public speaking, and individual sessions and retreats, Devi represents the inner vitality and harmony of the body, mind and spirit, the vitality of our interconnected world, as well as personal transformation. 

  • Jamia Haqq
    Jamia Haqq

    Jamia Haqq (Eila Paul) of Tainui descent has been walking a spiritual path all her life. Introduced to the Inayatiyya in 1997 she was soon initiated by the late Murshida Halima McEwan at the Sharda Centre, Aotearoa/New Zealand. Through her Maori heritage, having a strong connection with nature drew her to the Inayatiyya’s annual Summer Camp in Switzerland in 2002, where she was initiated into Ziraat by Pir Zia. In the last 15 years she has been a trustee, and at times custodian and kaitiaki/guardian, of the Sharda Centre, caring for the beautiful natural native forest, stream and visitors with an outward expression of her inner path.

  • Raqib Misha Kogan M.D.
    Raqib Misha Kogan M.D.

    Raqib Misha Kogan, M.D. received his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. He’s the medical director of the GW Center for Integrative Medicine and associate professor of medicine in the division of Geriatrics and Palliative Care at George Washington University. Raqib has been on the Sufi path since 2001 and is a Conductor in the Inayatiyya Healing Activity. Together with his wife Rafia, he completed Suluk training in 2007. Raqib has been working closely with Devi Tide and other Healing Activity leaders for over 10 years and has assisted in organizing and running many annual Leadership Retreats. Raqib’s goal is to bring healing wisdom and practices of the Inayatiyya to more people, especially those who are vulnerable. To achieve this goal, Raqib founded AIM Health Institute, a non-profit organization in the Washington, D.C. area that provides integrative medicine services to low-income and terminally ill patients regardless of their ability to pay.

  • Jessica Bromby
    Jessica Bromby

    Jessica Bromby has had her home healing practice called Hearthaven for over 25 years. She offers healing retreats in her Home or on zoom remotely. She guides and organizes individual or group retreats and programs locally or online globally. She teaches the Awakened Healer class with Devi Tide and is helping to teach the Healing retreat guide training with Devi, Sarmad, Gayatri and Jamila this coming year. She’s a Shafayat, Healing Cherag , Ziraat Farmer, Raphaelite Healer and healing retreat guide. She is a zikr leader and offers zikrs monthly. She is also a certified dance leader in the dances of universal peace, a representative in the Inayatiyya as well as friend of all Sufi orders and friends of all of creation. Jessica teaches children at her local school, Mangrove community school, in Florida. She also guides a rights of passage group for young teens called Daughters of the Earth. She is Canadian raised on a farm in rural Quebec, avid traveler ~ globe trotter, now living in Florida with her two cats Bibi and Mani and husband Akbar by the Gulf of Mexico in their jungle home Kalama.

  • Amina Georgia Feliou
    Amina Georgia Feliou

    Amina Georgia Feliou is the Kefayat and Emeritus Vice President of the Inayatiyya Healing (IH) for Europe and Pakistan. She is the leader of the IH in Athens, Greece and a representative for the Inayatiyya Inner School. She is a psychotherapist following Murshid’s path since 2008. Before working as a psychotherapist, she was working for more than 10 years at the United Nations and in particular the United Nations Information Center for Greece, Cyprus and Israel, stationed in Athens, Greece. She has studied philosophy, psychology, psychotherapy, and library and information science. She enjoys swimming, hiking and practicing fascia exercises. She is dedicated to the service of fellow human beings, non-human friends and Mother Earth to the best of her abilities.

  • Zumurrud Butta
    Zumurrud Butta

    Zumurrud Butta serves as Vice President of the Inner School of the Inayatiyya in Europe and leads the Inner School in Germany. She offers individual and group retreats and retreat guide training, has taught at Suluk Academy in North America and Europe and is serving on the Suluk Global Committee. Zumurrud teaches courses on Sufi mysticism in Europe and online, with a focus on the teachings of Hazrat Inayat Khan, Ibn ´Arabi and the female transmission of mysticism.

  • Farzana Dalila-Boyle
    Farzana Dalila-Boyle

    Farzana Dalila-Boyle has been on the endless path in the Inayatiyya for over 30 years. She serves as the UK Shefayat and as a representative in the UK Inner School. She has moved recently to Portugal, where she is leading solo and group retreats. She works a a transpersonal psychotherapist and combines different healing modalities, ceremonies and indigenous teachings in her work.. She is a retreat guide in the Inner School and on the retreat guide training with the Healing Activity in North America.   • Amat-un-Nur Hayat
    Amat-un-Nur Hayat

    Amat-un-Nur Hayat has been walking the Sufi Path of the Inayatiyya since 2004. She serves as a Regional Representative of South-East Asia, National Representative for Pakistan, and a Guide in the Inner School of the Inayatiyya. Additionally she is a Shefayat in the Inayatiyya Healing Activity. She has represented Sufi teachings as part of many international conferences and has led Sufi inner training and healing retreats.
    She lives and works in Lahore, Pakistan.

  • Nur Alima Smith
    Nur Alima Smith

    Nur Alima Smith is a Shafayat, a Cherag, a Healing Conductor and a Raphaelite Healer in the Inayatiyya Healing Activity. She is adept with various breathing techniques, having studied this for 35 years. Nur Alima brings the Inayati philosophy and practices to the community groups. She has run many trainings for staff and volunteers in Hospice and multiple Veteran Organizations focusing on these techniques and how to heal oneself with the breath. Since 2015 Nur Alima has also led a weekly meditation group for Veterans who have PTSD. Her additional work with the Veteran Community includes teaching meditation and relaxation techniques to those on active duty about to be deployed and those who have just returned from combat. She also leads a monthly meditation session for Hospice volunteers and staff.Nur Alima serves on the Inayatiyya Healing steering committee, and lives in Syracuse, New York.

  • Sufia Nina El-Badry
    Sufia Nina El-Badry

    Sufia Nina El-Badry is a yoga teacher and certified trauma-sensitive meditation instructor. She has been practicing yoga all her life and teaching it for almost 20 years.   • Qalbi Enjalbert
    Qalbi Enjalbert

    Qalbi Enjalbert is the Shefayat of Inayatiyya Healing in France and a representative of the Inner School of Inayatiyya-France. As a Jungian analyst, she accompanies people through the individuation process. As a psychologist in a hospital, she assists human beings at the end of their lives in their psychological and spiritual processes. She has taught these subjects at university and regularly offers training courses for a variety of audiences.
