Join us for the Ziraat Second Friday Series this Spring, Nature Spirits: Communicating Intuitively with Nature.

It is essential that humanity heals our relationship with Nature. In this series we will explore how to develop our intuitive capacity to attune with Nature and Nature Spirits.

  • February 9thJewels of the Heart; an Introduction to Gemstones with Mahbano Genevieve Scarse
    • “We can discover a pearl in a person, we can see in the heart of man a diamond or an emerald, all the jewels of this world are there if only we can see it.” ~ Hazrat Inayat Khan
    • In this session we will explore the essential nature of precious gemstones and the influence they can have on our everyday lives.
  • March 8th—The Mysticism of Sound and Nature with Maryam Hasnaa At-Tauhidi
    • In this session, learn how each aspect of creation has a unique song and how that song can be made manifest through responding to a calling.
  • April 12th—The Tender Fabric of the Spirit of Nature with Devi Tide and Jamia Haqq
    • In this session we will practice communicating with the living essence of every part of nature and the sacred journey that is always available from the Divine Source.
  • May 10th—Learning to Breathe with the Earth with Robert Karbelinkoff
    • In this session, learn ways of entering into communion with the nature spirits and the natural phenomena all around us.

Sessions are from 3-4:30 pm New York Time, 9-10:30 pm Central European Time. 

All are welcome to attend. This program is open and free to the public. Come to all or any part of the series. Video recordings for each class can be found on the Inayatiyya Vimeo page.

    Devi Tide

    Devi Tide is the Kefayat (Head) and Vice President of the Sufi Healing Order in North America, New Zealand and Australia. She has over thirty years of experience as a teacher of healing and the esoteric sciences, bringing the qualities of wisdom, heart, subtlety, humor, and intelligence to her role. Devi has contributed to and offered programs in India, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and North America. In her seminars, public speaking, and individual sessions and retreats, Devi represents the inner vitality and harmony of the body, mind and spirit, the vitality of our interconnected world, as well as personal transformation.

    Jamia Haqq

    Jamia Haqq (Eila Paul) of Tainui descent has been walking a spiritual path all her life. Introduced to the Inayatiyya in 1997 she was soon initiated by the late Murshida Halima McEwan at the Sharda Centre, Aotearoa/New Zealand. Through her Maori heritage, having a strong connection with nature drew her to the Inayatiyya’s annual Summer Camp in Switzerland in 2002, where she was initiated into Ziraat by Pir Zia. In the last 15 years she has been a trustee, and at times custodian and kaitiaki/guardian, of the Sharda Centre, caring for the beautiful natural native forest, stream and visitors with an outward expression of her inner path.

  • Mahbano Genevieve Scase
    Mahbano Genevieve Scase

    Mahbano Genevieve Scase is a musician of the heart living in Poneke Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand. After two decades of immersion in the Dances of Universal Peace she took initiation in the Inayatiyya. She currently holds the concentration for the Music Activity in Aotearoa and sits on their Message Council. She is a Representative and Guide in the Inner School, and a Shafayat in the Healing Activity. She has worked as a Homeopath for 20 years with a particular interest in gemstones and more recently trained as a psychodynamic Psychotherapist. She has a deep interest in the awakening capacity inherent in the vibrations resounding through the kingdoms of the natural world and the sound code of the Divine names.

  • Maryam Hasnaa At-Tauhidi
    Maryam Hasnaa At-Tauhidi

    Maryam Hasnaa At-Tauhidi has been immersed in a world of mysticism, ceremony and celebration since before she was born. An initiated Priestess, Energy Worker, Medicine Woman and Flower Practitioner, she has found her calling in offering training and mentorship for those with the trait of high sensitivity. She is highly intuitive and a lover of all things that create a feeling of being connected to something bigger than ourselves. Maryam uses her own highly sensitive gifts to remind other beings of the energetic nature of this universe. She has learned the importance of living in alignment with one’s intuition and most authentic self. Maryam has synthesized ancient teachings along with cutting edge information to create a unique system of healing for those on the path of Liberation. This is done in a way that will awaken wholeness and create deep transformation. Through shining her light so brightly her intention is that others will see themselves reflected and do the same.

    Robert Karbelinkoff

    Robert Karbelinkoff, M.Ed. is a consultant, educator, writer and social entrepreneur informed by the insights of the philosopher and social activist Rudolf Steiner. Robert is a long-time leader in the sustainable agriculture movement in the US and is the former executive director of the Biodynamic Association and of Practical Farmers of Iowa.
