Gatha Teachings of Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan
Every Other Thursday at 6 pm PT/9 pm ET

Hazrat Inayat Khan developed a system of Sufi studies based on four circles. The first circle of study is called Gatha. This bi-weekly class is open to murids (initiated students) within the Inayatiyya’s Inner School and to ashiqs (friends of the Inayatiyya who have received this Blessing).

In each class we study Hazrat Inayat Khan’s teachings, reading his esoteric papers in order of subject followed by spiritual practices and a short period of subhat (spiritual conversation). Our esoteric paper classes are traditionally free as is the case with this series. It is recommended that Inayatiyya Inner School initiates begin their study with these papers.

Local Inayatiyya Centers around the world also often explore these papers, online and in-person, as another option.

Please contact Sherdil Nelson to learn more, to register, and to request a Zoom link: esotericpapers@inayatiyya.org. Email him your name, location (city, state/province & country), the name of your Inayatiyya Spiritual Guide, and your initiation level or indicate if you are an ashiq or a murid.

Gatha is a Sanskrit term for “song” or “verse.”
