Universal Worship
Gathering in Unity w/ Pir Zia Inayat Khan
Saturday, October 4, 2025
9:00 am – 5:00 pm EDT / 3:00 – 11:00 pm CET via Zoom
The work of the Universal Worship is to spread the unity of religion. It is not a mission to promote a particular creed or any church or religion; it is a work to unite the followers of different religions and faith in wisdom, so that without having to give up their own religion they may strengthen their own faith and focus the true light upon it. In this way a greater trust, a greater confidence will be established in mankind.—Hazrat Inayat Khan
All Cherags, Sirajs, and those in training, are invited to a one-day Universal Worship—Gathering in Unity event on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm ET/3:00 pm to 11:00 pm CET via Zoom. This will be a day of learning and fellowship together with Pir Zia, and with break out sessions led by a variety of leaders within the Universal Worship.
The Universal Worship holds a single flame to illuminate the many lamps of the world’s faiths, inviting us to behold the One Light shining through every tradition. Cherags—“lamps” ordained to lead the service—and Sirajs, the senior ministers, embody that ideal of unity in diversity. On this special day we gather to deepen our attunement, refine our ministry skills, and renew the fellowship that sustains our work.
