The teachings in this volume touch on all four stages, with a primary focus on the purification of the mind.

Hazrat’s discussion of the mind sheds illuminating light on the nature of consciousness, cognition, and mental habits. Reading these lectures, the reader’s mind is drawn to reflect its own inner workings. Hazrat’s lectures are not, however, merely descriptive; they are also prescriptive in the sense that they trace, in outline, the path of “mystic relaxation” that leads ultimately to the experience of pure, unconditioned consciousness.

Continuing our study of The Sufi Message of Hazrat Inayat Khan: Centennial Edition, we come now to the fourth title in the series, Healing & the Mind World. The teachings contained within this volume represent the Sufi Mystic, Hazrat Inayat Khan’s (1882-1927), select lectures on Health, Healing, Mental Purification, and The Mind World.

Our spring series ran over the course of five classes in May 2020, with four taught by Pir Zia, and with a special, discussion-based class on the fourth Sunday featuring Sarida Brown (UK) and Devi Tide (US), Vice Presidents of the Inayatiyya’s Healing Activity.
